Giving Thanks!

Hello Friends,

Happy Thanksgiving! You know, Thanksgiving may be the perfect well•ish holiday! I eat more than is good for me and also take time to practice gratitude. How perfectly imperfect!!

Thanksgiving is a big day for me to look over the past, assess the present, and look toward the future. What have I accomplished, what goals were met or left undone, where am I going now? Life is a journey! It has ups and downs, and throws you sideways sometimes too. What a ride! Research shows that focusing on gratitude goes a long way in promoting feelings of wellbeing. I started a gratitude practice several months ago. Each day begins by sitting and naming what I am grateful for that day. Some days, it’s harder than others. Most days, I’m overwhelmed by what I’m thankful for once I get rolling. It’s a beautiful way to start the day. This Thanksgiving, I invite you to think about creating space to start a gratitude practice of your own. Perhaps you already do this and can speak to its power! If not, give it a try. It only takes a few minutes and I guarantee you will love it.

This Thanksgiving, I am especially grateful for you! It has been a long time dream of mine to start a company where I speak about my love of wellness. I’m hoping to help others learn to love it too. I want to dispel any notion that you are either into wellness or you’re not. It’s not all or nothing. It’s not success or failure. It’s always a win when you invest time in yourself. Small changes can make big differences in your health. Join me, Wellish Nation! Let’s start a revolution where the goal is not perfection, but internalizing that being well•ish, is a beautiful way to love yourself! Today, and all days, I wish YOU well. Thank you for joining me in this journey! From my family to yours, I wish you a beautiful Thanksgiving!

Xoxo,

Dani
